Most diesel engines experience problems due to contamination. Today’s gas turbines, diesel engines are more demanding and require a high level cleanliness. Diesel fuel degrades quickly. Proper filtration at all steps of its life, from the refinery to the point of use insures engine reliability.
Single stage and two stage filter separators are used to filter particulate and coalesce water from fuels, etc.
Single stage filter separators use 20″ and 40″ coalescers. Teflon “green screen” canisters fit over the coalescing elements.
