The Challenge: A client in the pipeline industry needed a reliable and durable way to filter amine with a highly corrosive pH of 13. The operating environment did not have electricity on-site, only compressed air, and shutting down the line for routine filter changes was not an option.
Our solution: For this application, we designed a portable filtration system powered by the Blue Series AODD Pump, perfectly suited for challenging applications using only compressed air. To support continuous operation with no downtime, we used a duplex filter configuration with integrated valves, allowing operators to switch vessels and replace filters without interrupting fluid flow.
