Stacked Disc depth filters are made of a blend of cellulose and diatomaceous earth into cells. The cells are stacked and compressed. Polypropylene edge seals and separators keep the filter elements uniform and true.
Stacked Disc depth filters are used in various applications including cannabis extracts, transformer oils, edible oils, beer, wine and spirits. The depth component is excellent for removing semi-solids and small particulate. The diatomaceous earth is positive in nature that removes negatively charged ions and “haze” components.
Typical Applications:
- Coatings
- Syrups
- Flavorings
- Fragrant
- Beer
- Wine
- Spirits
- Turbine Oil
- Transformer Oil
- Edible Oils
- Plasma
